Form Today, i will try to post about one Governor General of British India.

Governor Generals of British India 

Warren Hastings Plan 1772 – 1785 : 

• He is the one who brough the Dual Government of Bengal 
• He is the one who establish the Civil and Criminal Courts 
• He is the one who pass the rule that mantaining of records for any thing is mandatory.
• In his regime first Anglo- Maratha War (1776-1782) Happen, which ended with the treaty of Salbai(1782)
• In his regimeSecond Anglo – Mysore War War (1780-1784) Happen, which ended with the treaty of Mangalore (1784)
•   As a great patron of oriental learning, he founded the Asiatic Society of Bengal with William Jones in 1784. He wrote introduction to the first English translation of “The Gita” by Charles Wilkins. 
•  Impeachment proceedings started against him when he returned on the charges of taking bribe.
